Make-up and Hair
Make-up and hair tutorial videos below. For the make-up, all colours are applied the same way, but be sure to use the correct colour for your group.
Please do not be concerned about doing the makeup, follow the tutorial and have a couple of practices runs prior to see how you go. If there are certain aspects of it that you are worried about, such as eyeliner, mascara or applying lashes, there will be people around willing to help you out. The foundation, eyeshadow and blush will just need a little practice. Some parents have found that the Foundation will need to be a shade or two darker than normal for stage lighting, so they don’t look washed out or pale.
*Ready Set Dance students – The full make up is not needed. Foundation and blush is necessary along with the pink eyeshadow and lipstick so they don’t look washed out. But eyeliner, mascara and the brown eyeshadow is up to you if they wear that.
