Volunteer Helpers & Blue Cards
Just a reminder that parent helpers out the back are VERY important to ensure that all children are dressed and ready for each dance. This is what makes our concerts run smoothly. If you are only watching one concert is it recommended that you volunteer to help at the other. If this is your first year at BDA and would like to help but unsure on what to do, please don’t worry, let us know it’s your first year, there are plenty of experienced parent helpers who will guide you through the process. Please remember no one is allowed out the back without a blue card. You are not even allowed to walk your child into a dressing room without one. There will be a designated drop off/pick up zone at the sign in/sign out desk.
Blue cards will need to linked to BDA, to apply, visit https://my.bluecard.qld.gov.au/login and either create an account or login. Once logged in, click “Apply for a blue card”, we will need to link you to BDA before you can finish your application, to do this we need your bluecard number and date of birth.
