Peta-Maree is a zealous and outgoing dancer, full of character she followed her life long dream of opening a dance school in 2006. Since then she has been dedicated to her students and does her best to pass on her knowledge and love of dance to all who walk into her studio. She has helped her dancers to reach their potential and achieve amazing results. Peta’s mission is to create confidence in her students, and equip them with the necessary skills to pursue a career in dance.
Over the years Daniel has been in the background of BDA mostly worrying about his own business as a video and digital media producer. Being the husband of Peta-Maree, his involvement in BDA has slowly grown and now he takes care of the digital presence and administration side of things.
Amy is a charismatic dancer who loves to bring the stage alive with her creative ideas. She has an amazing connection with young children and can bring the wildest dancer out of the most most timid child. Amy begins the journey with the little ones in Ready, Set Dance! and our Munchkins classes where they learn to move to music and other fundamental skills. Growing up dancing herself, Amy has a huge repertoire of styles that she has mastered, including tap, jazz, classical, musical theatre, hip hop and acrobatics. With a Certificate 4 in Dance Teaching and Management, a Bachelor of Learning Management and also a teaching qualification in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, Amy comes to us highly qualified and experienced. She also leads the acro and tumbling classes alongside Peta-Maree. Amy is a Swiss Army knife at BDA and also helps out with admin work and generally keeps BDA more organised than all our staff combined.
